In 1989, the Golf Properties Marketing Group was founded at CB Richard Ellis, addressing the absence of a dedicated team for selling golf courses and related properties. With a background as both an attorney and land broker, the focus has been on golf course brokerage for the past 22 years, specializing in golf courses, golf development parcels, and master-planned residential golf communities.

Jon Knudson joined the golf team in 1996, starting as a Marketing Specialist at CB Richard Ellis. He played a crucial role in creating and disseminating marketing information. By 2001, Jon earned the title of Vice President at CBRE and received the “Rookie Broker of the Year” award in the Phoenix region. Since then, Jon Knudson has been a key player in forming a dynamic partnership, making him one of the most experienced golf course brokers globally. With 36 years of combined experience in this niche industry, he continues to represent various segments, including:
