Upon opening in October of 1988, the 240-acre Moreno Valley Ranch Golf Club was considered one of Southern California’s premier public golf facilities with 27-holes of championship golf designed by world famous designer Pete Dye.  Before being closed in the summer of 2015, the Moreno Valley Ranch Golf Club was impacted by changing economics in the U.S. golf industry compounded by the Great Recession.  Many golf courses closed or were downsized and only in the last few years has the industry experienced signs of national recovery.   At its peak, Moreno Valley Ranch Golf Club encompassed a spacious, Mediterranean inspired clubhouse and a 14-acre, lighted grass driving range. The course itself included three 9-hole courses -- Lake Course, Mountain Course, and Valley Course.  Each course had its own distinct characteristics, giving the golfer a truly unique experience along each fairway and on each green. Two inoperative wells that were dedicated to the golf course have been restored and placed in service by ownership to once again irrigate the golf course along with recycled water at a nominal price.   The courses feature island greens and Pete Dye’s trademark railroad ties. Multiple tee placements at each hole challenge the finest players in the world and yet give a thoroughly playable and enjoyable time to the average golfer.  Bridge Investment Group Holdings is committed to selling the Rancho Del Sol Golf Club to an experienced 3rd party owner/operator who is equally committed to operating a quality course beginning with a regulation 18 holes.  Then, if economically feasible, the remaining nine holes can be opened to public play if they choose.  Until that time, those nine holes and the land associated with them will be maintained by the new golf course owner.
